The flats of Andros are a wonder of the fishing world. Nowhere else can you find such endless flats and a variety of habitat. Even though Andros seems like one island, it’s technically a series of cays intercut with “creeks” that run east to west, connecting the Atlantic with the Caribbean. In between, you’ll find reefs, deep channels, grassy flats, sandy bays, ocean-side beaches, and mangrove shoreline. The fishing at Andros
Andros Island, known in the Bonefishing world as the “land of giants”, the flats and cays in the North Bight were once bonefishing’s best-kept secret. In season you’ll also find Tarpon, Permit, Snapper, Barracuda and lots more. With one of the largest barrier reefs in the world right on our doorstep, you will also find Grouper, jacks, grunts, and even triggerfish!
With Bonefish fast becoming the most popular salt-water fish for any fly fisherman, you have the chance to get in before the crowds show up!
Your days will vary depending on you, if you want to spend your time stalking tailing bones on the flats – we’ll be guiding you every step of the way, or if you want to aim for the trophy-sized specimens – we’ve got you covered!
